Allison Kolden

Allison Kolden is an Illustrator born and raised in a town on the outskirts of Minneapolis Minnesota, where she went to school at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

Starting out as a traditional painter, she slowly transformed her work into digital pieces. She found comfort in vibrant color pallets, bold shapes, and textures.

Allison enjoys creating fun and uplifting works for a wide variety of ages but has a special place for children’s illustrations; such as making interactive pieces like I spies, coloring pages, and board game spreads.

If there was a theme in Allison’s work, it would involve whimsical landscapes with a wide array of colorful plants and numerous critters connecting a world within one image.
